First snow

Here, when the first snow falls, you can say that winter has officialy started!!!

It is cold, but it is winter - it supposed to be. I don't understand those who complain all the time instead of getting out & having fun. How not to love the sound of snow creaking under your feet, snow shining in the sun & moonlight, snowmen & other winter amusements.

Besides, after some time spent outside you appreciate hot chocolate & tea more. Personally, I enjoy the sound of fire & smell of cinnamon and honey...

Route 66

Currently I'm really busy doing my final paper. I'm out of inspiration and/or motivation... I really need to clear my mind. Usually a walk would help but now, I'm not so sure.

I'm thinking route 66... long, calm drive... nothing but ever-changing landscape...

I wish I could do it right now... Maybe someday...

My Weather Story

I wouldn't call myself poetic but this is one of my old school assignments & I wanted to share it with all those who want to learn something new about Bosnia & Herzegovina.

WEATHER IN OUR COUNTRY

We live in such a beautiful place whose beauty is visible all-year-around. Every single season has unique expression of it beauties. 
Winter. Snow. Ice. Diamonds. You must love winter when our beautiful Bosnia gets colder and magically puts on hers snowy white coat. How not to enjoy winter delights when Bosnia puts diamond crowns on top of all of hers amazing mountains and like that is not enough, this beautiful country turns lakes into mirrors and doubles the view. All of this makes you feel like you have just entered winter wonderland.
Just before you get used to scenery, nature sheds this plain coat for even more amzing one. Spring sets and put on its rich, deep green dress full of ornaments. Then starts the rain. Washes everything and exposes its clear colors, leaving just few drops here and there instead of pearls to reflect the rainbow frame of color spectrum underneath. 
Summer arrives quickly, surprising you with longer days and blooming flowers. As the Sun sets its place high in the sky, its hot breath spreads hypnotising sweet aroma. All of your senses are intoxicated but still you can comprehend enchanting transition from clear, aquamarine blue sky to gems in which the colours bleed and blend into perfect harmony of rose, orange and red sunset.
And as you think you have seen it all, this generous land goes even beyond imagination. As autumn arrives she paints everything an her way in vibrant golden red shades. Once the stage is prepared we are invited to a daily miracle to witness seasons delivery of products of man hard work.
Only by living your life to the fullest you can see little daily changes as well as the land transformation on seasonal journey. Mother nature has been very generous by rewarding our country with all four different seasons, gracefully giving us presents every single day. This is why it is important to be thankful and learn to respect amazing gifts of life.

Why are they so hard? No one knows... not even Mr. know-it-all, Google!!!

aghhhh... somedays are just so hard... Not that love is ever easy so it doesn't matter how you call it or where are you from.... Bottom line is, it's damm hard work & it is not for everybody. If you are not strong, trustworthy, honest, respecfull person who is ready to comunicate to make your love real - don't go there!

For those of you who are thinking about this, from one sceptic to onother, it is worth it... Distance is just a word, just a number as long as you have someone very special on the other side. I will not lie, it will not be great all the time. There is a lot of the bumps ahead because nothing worthy of having comes easily. Be shure to expect a bad days too...

You'll experience bad days without fights but, speaking of, it is important to mention that the two of you are the relationship. Just you two, not you + all of your friends & the best way to ensure not to forget it is to keep  it to yourselves. Of course, you should talk to others in some occasions because you can always use a second opinion & outsider sometimes can bring you an objective. However, think twice who you can talk to & don't interfere others into the smallest disputes /arguments because it doesn't concerns them.

But it is not all so dark. There are a lot of "advantages" in this kind of relationships . Each of you has a lot of time for yourself, your friends & obligations so that you'll never experience that feeling of smothering, losing your freedom even if you get together for longer period of time. Other great thing is that every conversation is much more meaningful to both because  you'll never take your time together for granted & you'll cherish the simple things. But the best thing is what you'll never stop revealing something new about them & the phase of infatuation last for years...

Autumn shopping: The Hat

My curent opssesion is hunt for hat. Personaly, I like them, they can change every combination & they will make you warm. Honestly, as much as I love fashionable looks, I preffer being dressed for the moment - according to curent season.
I'm one of you-I too often find style inspiration in magazines or on fashion blogs. I have seen different hats in several fashion blogs I follow & one has cought my eye. It's fedora presented by Tamara at Glam and Glitter 4Ever (image source).

 

My #1 choise is this big beige hat from P....S.... fashion.

I prefer to dress simple with bold accessories, either in bold colors or similar shades with differnt textures. That's the reason behind theese choises.

Monochromatic fog

On my last post Chalenge excepted! I wrote about how I'm going to chalenge myself. & I did it. :D
I wore red. I still can't belive it, because it was not my first choise. Well, red is not my choise ever unless we're talking about bags & shoes...

Since I was going to library & leter went on mountain to meet with my friend, I thought this would be a good  & practical combination. I was worm, the walk was amazing as well as the coffee & cake (to bad you can't see pictures now).
For past several days the fog is imposible. The pictures are really bad  so I'm using ones from my phone.

I'm wearing sweater with fake pockets & gold buttons, red straight-leg pants with stitched detailes, red suede, full hell shoes, red fake leather bag & red double buttoning coat.
This are all simple pieces which can be found everywhere. Except Nesal pants, this outfit is non-branded. This is brand available only in Europe but I don't think it should be a problem to find similar ones in every mall all over the world.

When it comes to colors in fashion, my style is quite simple. I'll either go all over one color - in different shades & textures or combine basic colors which will highlight bold accessories.

I'm well aware of monocromatic trend but I've been avoiding it. That is, till now.  While killing my inomnia, I've been reading some blogs & desided to get out of my comfort zone & except the chalege presented by Daniela at Nany's Klozet.

It looks like tomorow I'll be facing mono-color dilema...

Shopping...

No matter where do you live, you know that shopping is not an easy task.
However, it is possible to find up-to-date,fashionable clothes & accessories . I personaly, do not think you should spent a little fortune in oder to look trendy & stylish. The key is in planning. I make a wish list, sort by the fact what do I need more at that time, prices & places where to find it.

 Then comes the hard work & the the question is: Where to? Here in Bosnia everywhere you look is a so-called-mall where you can find anything except what you currently need (or I might be imagining?)
Here you will not find world-renown designer pieces but you can find similar things. I shopp all over the coutry and sometimes even in Croatia. There is a wider selection of brands & better sales.

I hate solo-shopping but I love it if I get my friends and make it to a fun trip. It is much more amusing if you have someone along, someone who'll make you laugh by acting fullish & crazy... then you have the recipe for great time. Don't you think so?

I know it can be desapointing if you cant find what you need or there isn't your size... No one should feel bad beacuse of that, people all over globe have been in that situation at least once in their life time. More importantly is to remeber that this situation can happen to all sizes & all body types.

Hello & Welcome
I'm a person who doesn't belives in diaries - I prefer to say what's on my mind. 
I like meeting new people, learnig something new, ingage in discusions & conversations... If you are like me, stay a little bit longer, talk to me. :D
I'm not life coach, or some kind of guru who sets the ruls which should be fallowed.
